Suitable for NDIS funding
MindClimb: Enjoyable Therapy
Overseen by an onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) and suitable for NDIS funding, MindClimb is a fun, safe and therapeutic program for people with learning disabilities (e.g. ASD and ADHD) that uses our vast variety of engaging climbing structures.
MindClimb is an encouraging, non-competitive substitute for conventional sports. Participants with additional needs complete closely supervised climbing exercises tailored to individual abilities. They also improve social participation and emotional regulation. Parents can relax with a tasty snack or barista coffee in the on-site café and watch the action above, participants use heaps of playful energy and gain a wonderful sense of achievement.

Our MindClimb Sessions
Afterschool Sessions
Most participants complete closely supervised, weekly MindClimb sessions for 1.5 hours starting at either 4:30pm or 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Sessions can be reduced to 1 hour if necessary. Participants can complete a casual MindClimb session before deciding if they will commit to weekly sessions.
Occupational Therapist (OT) sessions
These sessions combine therapeutic climbing with specific interventions focused on achieving the participant’s NDIS goals. An assessment and the participant’s NDIS goals is required to tailor the interventions. There is usually a waitlist for OT sessions, and they occur earlier in the day before MindClimb Afterschool sessions. Sunday OT sessions may be possible subject to availability.
Sunday Sessions
A few participants who are unable to attend after school do MindClimb on Sunday afternoons. However, Sunday sessions cost more than Afterschool sessions and there may be a few members of the public present at the start of the session. There is usually a waitlist for Sunday Sessions.
Holiday Sessions
Closely supervised MindClimb sessions for extended daytime hours are available to participants during school holidays. Call us on 0397699966 for dates and details.
Individual Sessions
A one-on-one appointment can be arranged with an instructor who works exclusively with a participant to maximise their physical, mental and emotional development. Flexible times reduce sensory distractions and increase learning and concentration.
